You have reached the web site of ASTRO Systems, Inc.  Our web site has been designed to give our visitors a brief overview of our telecommunications consulting firm. 

The telecommunications industry has been experiencing vast changes since the first communications satellite, Telstar 1, was launched on July 10, 1962. Much has changed since this first attempt to make the world smaller. 

Today the largest and smallest countries rely on satellite communications as part of their domestic and international infrastructure. Systems like these provide emergency assistance, communications, administrative and logistical support, and improve the educational services to many regions.  

At ASTRO Systems along with their experiences prior to joining ASTRO, the staff has had both technical and administrative responsibility in the design, manufacture, integration, and installation of communication equipment, subsystems, and systems for both domestic and international customers. These included RCA, AT&T, COMSAT, American Satellite, and a number of member nations of the INTELSAT organization.

Our web site provides additional information about our satellite expertise and other telecommunications disciplines such as, microwave radio system design, digital telephony, and other non-satellite disciplines.
